The west side of the loco now coming on at a very steady pace with new sections of steel being ground off
The new aluminium floor plates being trail fitted, these have had to have a fair bit trimmed off them to get them to fit

With the frame all rubbed down a coat of primer was applied ready for the top coat of cream.
As we start fitting the cab back out, all the electrical systems are being checked. In this picture you can see the headcode box lit up and looking very nice and tidy.

The first new window drip tray was installed and tested to see if it actually works. Once tested the window scissors where refitted
The new steel work in the cab has now been welded into place, with this now down in place the new flooring can be fitted
Roger is seen marking out areas of the bodywork ready for cutting out
Members of the group are seen cleaning up the No1 end nose doors, once stripped these will be primed and painted
New sections of steel have started to appear on the No1 drivers side cab
The youngest member of the team, Henry is seen applying primer to the bulk head wall
